Yield: 1 cup
- 5 green cardamom

- 2 cm cinnamon stick
- 5 black peppercorns
- 15 g ginger fresh
- 3 black tea bags
- 250 ml water
- 250 ml whole milk

In a mortar and pestle, crush the cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and peppercorns until none of them is whole.
In a pan, put at medium heat. Once hot, add spices and toast until aromatic.
In the same mortar and pestle, crush the ginger until juices release. Add to pan. Heat for one minute.
Add water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add black tea bags.
Simmer for 3 minutes, then add milk and sugar (I recommend starting with 1 tbsp and after it is done boiling, taste to see if it needs more).
Boil rapidly for another 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and strain
Taste to see if it needs more sugar, then serve in a mug hot. Enjoy!
