Delicious and Crisp Homemade Garlic Bread
This baked garlic bread is delicious and buttery with fresh garlic flavor. It is easy to make, few ingredients, and quick to make. Good thing too because it will smell so good you will tempted to eat it all by yourself!

- 1/2 french baguette
- 1/3 cup vegan butter or softened dairy butter
- 2 tsp minced garlic (about 4 cloves)
- 2 tsp chopped fresh basil
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350°F
Slice the bread into 1 inch thick slices.
In a bowl, combine the softened vegan butter, garlic, garlic powder, basil, and salt. You want the mixture to be spreadable.
With a butter knife, generously coat each slice in the garlic butter mixture and place on a foil lined baking sheet. Once you finish, lay another piece of foil on top to cover them.
Bake for 10 minutes and then take the top foil off and carefully flip each toast. Then put in the oven again to bake for the last 5 minutes to bake for a total of 15 minutes. You want it to be crisp, but no burnt garlic.
