Materials
1flax egg (1 tbsp ground flaxseed and 2 tbsp water)
1/2tbspbaking powder
1cupall-purpose flour
1/4tspsalt
1/4 cupgranulated sugar
1/2 tbspvanilla extract
1/4cupoilany neutral oil will work fine
1 cupplant-based milk
Instructions
Plug in the waffle iron to heat up.
Mix the flax egg together and set aside to thicken.
In a bowl, add the dry ingredients and mix them together. Then add the rest of the ingredients, including the flax egg. Mix just to combine.
Spray or lightly brush oil on your waffle iron. Add the batter and heat for a couple minutes until the waffle is golden brown. Remove and let cool.
Notes
If you have leftovers, you can put them in a freezer-safe bag and freeze it. Make sure it is completely cool before you freeze it.
