Best and Easiest Vegan Waffles

These waffles are easy to make. Just stir all the ingredients together to make the batter and pour on the waffle iron. You will have a delicious stack of fluffy vegan waffles in no time.

Materials

  • 1 flax egg (1 tbsp ground flaxseed and 2 tbsp water)
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup oil any neutral oil will work fine
  • 1 cup plant-based milk

Instructions

  • Plug in the waffle iron to heat up.
  • Mix the flax egg together and set aside to thicken.
  • In a bowl, add the dry ingredients and mix them together. Then add the rest of the ingredients, including the flax egg. Mix just to combine.
  • Spray or lightly brush oil on your waffle iron. Add the batter and heat for a couple minutes until the waffle is golden brown. Remove and let cool.

Notes

If you have leftovers, you can put them in a freezer-safe bag and freeze it. Make sure it is completely cool before you freeze it.
