Authentic Pico de Gallo Recipe

Pico de Gallo is a little spicy, but so delicious mix of tomatoes, onions, and limes. It is fresh and a perfect accompaniment to tacos, burritos, or eating a spoonful just for yourself. It is so easy to make this quick side dish.

Materials

  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 bunch of cilantro, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cut the onion, garlic, and tomato and add it to a medium-sized bowl.
  • Open up the jalapeno and remove the seeds. Cut it into small pieces and add it to the bowl as well.
  • Mix and add the lemon, salt, pepper, and minced cilantro. Taste to adjust the seasonings. Serve and enjoy!
