These Peanut Butter Cereal treats are an easy snack to have on the go and great for sharing. It’s simple and delicious recipe that is perfect for all ages.
Rice Krispie treats were a snack that my school would frequently have. I have enjoyed quite a bit of those sweet treats. But I wanted to try it with a different cereal. Why not turn to another delicious cereal and candy; Reese’s? The peanut butter balances the sweetness of the marshmallow and the butter is browned to add a complexity that I never got from Rice Krispie treats. Consider this an adultier kids treat.
Overall it’s fun to remake this childhood treat and twist it to suit your tastes. If you like chocolate and peanut butter then I recommend this Peanut Butter Cereal Treat.
