This Lychee Limeade is sweet and sour. But with the addition of the East Asian Lychee, it’s floral and fruity. This is a refreshing drink to have any time of year and requires so few ingredients.
I finally got my hands on fresh lychee and I knew I wanted to make a drink out of it. Since Lychees are naturally sweet and have a wonderful texture, I thought of making them into a Limeade, which is similar to lemonade which I like as well.
It’s easy to make and a perfect drink to share with friends or family. Check it out below!

Ingredients for Lychee Limeade
- Fresh Lychees. These can be found in some Asian markets or online. You can also use canned lychees. That would be more readily available.
- Sugar.
- Lime. This recipe calls for a lot of lime juice. I recommend buying organic lime juice since the flavor is more potent and vibrant.
- Mint leaves. For garnish. This is optional.
- Ice.
The most important thing in making this drink is to TASTE it. Too sour? Add more water. Not sweet enough? Add more sugar. You can always adjust it based on your personal preference.
