Welcome to my page!
I graduated from college with my Associates in Culinary Management. I have worked in various restaurants and I am always hungry to learn more. I made this blog to document my journey into the culinary world and create a home for my recipes. I do a lot of experimenting at home and I needed a place to organize my discoveries and to share with loved ones.
I am a bookworm at heart and I find great enjoyment in researching new techniques and different ways to do something. I believe food is closely related to people’s culture and way of life. I think that is where my fascination with food came from.
My heritage is Latina, but I do cuisines from all around the world. Anything I haven’t tried before is fascinating to me and I want to experience it myself. My dream is to one day to be able to travel the world, but until then, I will bring the “world” to my kitchen.
In my blog, you can expect a great diversity of vegan and vegetarian recipes to peruse. These will be recipes that I have tried (and tested, sometimes multiple times) and I won’t post anything I don’t feel 100% confident in. And my door (figuratively speaking) is always open if you have any questions or criticisms or if you just want to talk.
I may be a new blogger, but I am determined to keep going. You can see my journey and watch me grow.
