Ingredients for this Homemade Tomato Sauce

  • Tomato. Use fresh organically grown tomatoes. This is the main ingredient, so make sure it is high quality. Pro-tip: don’t refrigerate your tomatoes because it kills the flavor. Leave them out at room temp until ready to cook.
  • Garlic. Great for flavor. Cut out any green parts that are a little bitter.
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Again for the flavor. It is pure olive oil, and the sauce tastes so much better.
  • Fresh Basil leaves
